Hampi: pisike unine turistilinnake ehk India Ateena, mille UNESCO maailmapärandis olevaid Vijayanagara kuningriigi varemeid käib uudistamas sama palju või ehk rohkemgi turiste.
Hampi: a tiny sleepy tourist town aka Indian Athens where as much or even more people come to see the ruins of long gone Vijayanagara kingdom written down as an UNESCO World Heritage site.

The highlight of India: everyone is roaming around in pajama pants (or give-ups) and no one thinks you're extremely lazy or careless when doing so.
Monkey business!
No one minds you snoozing a bit at the busiest circle of the town if you happen to get tired of the morning schnapps.
Went to a nearby town to get cash since I didn't take any before going there. No ATM in a tourist place like this didn't fit into my head at all.
The place looks like the war had gone over it, but prolly the road was made wider. In a very robust way...

Kena kontrast järgmise kohaga. / A nice contrast with the next p(a)lace.
We were walking on a street. Saw a big fancy house with lush garden which was very out of the picture. Examined a bit from the gate and thought it might be something interesting. Asked the guard if we can go in and got a permission. The guard guided us into the house and introduced to the keeper. The keeper was a bit surprised at first, but made a nice tour with a big smile on his face. It was told to be a residence of a big politician who sometimes holds meetings there. Didn't see the prominent. The house was really big, posh and luxurious according to Indian standards. Wasn't brave enough to make pics of ourselves. The guard asked for a bribe of 40 rupees.

Huge rocks like this are laying around everywhere. Sometimes it raised the question where they came from, who cut them and who put them there.
Seda pilti tehes kohtasin väga juhuslikult ühte eesti pliksi Meritit (üks kahest eestlasest, keda 3 kuu jooksul Indias kohtasin!) , kes reisis Indias 6 kuud! / I met an Estonian girl (a rarity: one of two Estonians who I met in my 3 months in India!) Merit who was travelling in India for 6 months!
Hampi: kivid, riisi- ja banaaniistandused.
